Bronte-spamosaurus

I discovered the following passage of re-purposed Emily Bronte appended to an email I received today for what I presume to be Swiss watch knock-offs ("For Superb Quality Swiss timekeepers, Frequent this increasingly popular site").

was a carpet profit - a mighty good one,
but the pattern was obliterated by
dust; a fireplace
A branch
lonely single glue lizard robot
that she was too weak.

Truly haunting imagery. I don't remember a glue lizard robot in Wuthering Heights, but admittedly I only skimmed the Cliffs Notes. Or should I call them Heathcliffs Notes? Oh, what a delightful bon mot!

Mydirtysecret

I've been spending a lot of time at Myspace lately. It's a good time, especially if you like your signal-to-noise ratio to look like your lotto odds. I even made up a little blog there with their surprisingly robust blog generator. I use it to forward my favorite hobby: responding to email surveys. If you've ever wanted to know what my favorite cereal is (Cinnamon! Toast! Crunch!) or my porn star name (Abbey Craig) you can find it there.

"Development"-ally disabled

Fox has reduced the episode order for "Arrested Development" from 22 eps to just 13, and won't start re-airing them until December:

ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT Earmarked For Demolition??

...and I die just a little inside. This show has gone to some outrageous places. After the revelation of "Mr. F" in the last episode, I don't think there's any doors left that AD's writers wouldn't kick down.

In the last couple of weeks, I'm sorry to say that I'd gone into this morbid routine of checking news sites every day or so on a death watch for this show. This is not a cancellation exactly but it's definitely circling the drain.

Goddamn you if you're not watching this show.
